Mobile consulting service picks up speed
Energiedienst Holding AG generates exclusively green electricity. Since 1999, all household customers have been supplied with green electricity from the NaturEnergie brand, and climate-neutral gas has been available since 2011. The heat and energy solutions business segment is currently being established. Its regional and national customers include around 250,000 private and commercial customers, around 18,000 business customers and 44 municipal customers who distribute the energy further. Around 11 billion kilowatt hours of electricity were sold in 2014. With a vehicle specially designed by MOST, Energiedienst is hitting the road with a new consulting service: The NaturEnergie Mobil will visit marketplaces, trade fairs and events. The green and white vehicle will make its first appearance at the Regio Gartenzauber trade fair in Weil am Rhein from 4 to 6 June. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology on board, Energiedienst employees will be able to handle all kinds of customer enquiries in the flexible consulting office. The NaturEnergie Mobil will open its doors in different cities and communities. Jörg Probst, team leader for customer service at Energiedienst, is part of the crew. "We meet our customers where they feel at home." Inside the spacious FUTURIA Boxx information vehicle, Energiedienst employees handle everything they would normally do at their workplace at one of the Energiedienst locations: concluding contracts, change of address notifications, bank account changes and other service activities. Guests take a seat in a cosy seating area or at one of the standing tables in front of the mobile unit. There they mainly talk to Energiedienst employees Jörg Probst and Hans-Peter Krebs. They take turns going on tour and provide information not only about tariffs and offers, but also about the company: generation in its own hydroelectric power plants, commitment to nature, the environment and future generations, as well as activities in the region. If necessary, experts will be on hand to provide support on specific topics. Of course, all this modern technology requires electricity. The NaturEnergie Mobil has this on board in a generator underneath the vehicle. "This makes us independent of the public grid and allows us to travel to places where there are no connection options for us," adds the Energiedienst project manager. Around 770,000 people live in the ED Netze GmbH network area and are supplied with energy. Energiedienst Holding AG employs around 810 people, including around 40 trainees. The Energiedienst Holding AG group includes Energiedienst AG, ED Netze GmbH, NaturEnergie AG and EnAlpin AG in Valais. Energiedienst Holding AG is a subsidiary of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG in Karlsruhe. Related links: http://www.energiedienst.de/
